The Head of Operations is a key member of the managing board, and line manager of School Principals’ Team (6 team members). This position is accountable for all processes related to product delivery at locations – learning process – it’s quality, client’s satisfaction, efficiency (costs), communications with clients, and team management – school principals and teachers: recruitment, engagement, motivation, performance evaluation, regular feedback.
This role must work effectively across the organization to drive innovation and growth in the portfolio. We seek a candidate who is passionate about English education and wants to have a significant impact on a diverse and growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
contribute to business model development, planning of KPIs related to quality, productivity, costs
ensure high-level service at locations, clients’ retention
improve academic processes, reporting system (create comprehensive and visually friendly dashboards and use it on day-to-day basis), using CRM
Improve CRM system performance and usability
manage the team: recruit, train, develop, motivate and engage, grow talents, evaluate performance and provide with feedback
collaborate closely with marketing and product departments, sales finance and IT
ensure high-level service at locations, clients’ retention
end to end responsibility for operations results at each location, including provision with all needed resources: people, tools, equipment, furniture, etc.
participate in products’ development
work on reaching synergy with other Business Units of DEC Group
Skills/Experience:
no less than 4 years solid experience in operations management (services, educational services are an advantage) proven with results,
results-oriented, team player
have experience in team management (no less than 2 years)
experience in project and process management methodologies (certificates and proven results): Agile, Scrum, Prince II, BPI, 6Sigma certificates are a strong advantage
ready to work in a dynamic environment, fine with dealing with ambiguity and all VUCA world factors, ready to take ownership, take decisions, work with numbers and people, delivering results through the team
Following is a must: English at upper intermediate level, proficiency in Excel, structured mindset, ability to shift from plans to actions in a fast and productive way, maturity in ability to create and support non-toxic environment working with different people, clients, teams
